What Are Cookies?

what are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. They help websites function, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use pages.

How MedEazy Uses Cookies

how medeazy uses cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary: session identifiers, CSRF protection tokens, authentication state, and security controls required for the site and application to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
  • Functional: remembered preferences such as UI settings in the authenticated workspace where enabled by your organization.
  • Analytics (limited): aggregated usage measurement on public pages to understand navigation and improve content, configured to avoid patient-identifiable data and disabled or minimized where not needed.

Public Website

public website

The public marketing site is designed to operate with minimal tracking. We do not use public-form cookies to profile individual patients or visitors for clinical purposes.

If we embed third-party fonts, status widgets, or analytics scripts, they may set their own cookies subject to the provider’s policies. We review such embeds for necessity and data minimization.

Authenticated Application

authenticated application

Signed-in users receive session cookies required for authentication, tenant context, and security. Session duration and idle timeout follow organizational and platform policies. Clearing cookies will sign you out.

Managing Cookies

managing cookies

You can control cookies through browser settings to block or delete them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent login and secure use of the application.

Where consent banners are required by law, we will present choices for non-essential cookies before they are set. Your selections can be updated through the mechanism provided on the site.
